The 75th Annual Golden Globes was unlike any other. And while the awards show is about honoring the best in film and television, there was a message that needed to be voiced…and a statement that needed to be heard. At Hueb, we support strong, talented, and dynamic women, and the red carpet was full of them!
To raise awareness on the subject of gender inequality and sexual harassment issues, the stars showed their support by wearing the color black..and only black. In a sea full of black gowns, and jewelry glistening (yes, we made an appearance), the ‘Time’s Up’ movement was a force to be reckoned with; and we couldn’t be more proud to be included. See below the list of celebrities who made a bold statement in Hueb pieces:
Actress Sharon Stone was all about Brazil at this year’s Golden Globes! She not only chose Brazilian fashion designer, Vitor Zerbinato’s gown to wear on the red carpet – but selected Hueb too–can we get a round of applause? Wearing our Labyrinth Diamond Earrings (that even caught the eye of Mariah Carey) she single handedly became our style favorite.
Susan Kelechi Watson
‘This is Us‘ star Susan Kelechi Watson was another highlight on the Golden Globes red carpet, and at the FOX Hulu’s After-Party Celebration. Choosing a deep cleavage jumpsuit by Monsoori and our Luminus Diamond Ring, we couldn’t help but feel the fierceness radiating through our television sets. Girl power all the way!
We love Chrissy Metz, how can you not? The actress – who is well-known for her confidence and amazing sense of style – was a definite showstopper with a Sachin & Babi custom made off-the-shoulder gown and our Luminus Black Onyx and Diamond Earrings. She also tweeted: “For the record, I wear what I want, when I want.” Amen!
